Not everyone is in agreement 👀
A Blackburn bakery has been slapped with a 0 star food hygiene rating, with major improvement deemed necessary in the management of food safety, cleanliness and conditions of the facilities - yet owners claim no inspection took place.
Owners of Woods Craft Bakery, Chris and May Wang say that the council did not realise that the bakery had changed hands in October 2022 and that whilst an inspector did come to the bakery on January 10 of this year, no actual inspection took place. LancsLive have asked Blackburn Council to confirm whether this is true, but they have not done so yet.The ratings are as follows:
