The Baldur's Gate 3 hotfix 4 has now been rolled back as the latest update apparently introduced new crashes into the game.
created by the developers themselves, this decision was apparently made “due to a build error causing new crashes.” Fortunately, Larian should be working on it already as they’ll be re-releasing it once they’ve “fixed the cause.”
Although this isn’t an ideal scenario for the critically acclaimed D&D-inspired creation, fans commenting under Larian’s post have unsurprisingly been forgiving as the content that Baldur’s Gate 3 has brought has naturally been enough to make them forget about this tiny mishap. Some, on the other hand, are simply lamenting the fact that they have to go through certain scenes again ashad apparently reached Wyrm’s Crossing already before the unfortunate hotfix roll back.
