Glasgow fans have been flocking to the cinema to see Barbie
Barbie - and Oppenheimer - are officially in cinemas and millions of people are sitting down dressed up, ready to watch the highly-anticipated films with Glasgow among the top cinemas.
More than two thousand of Vue's screenings for Barbie were sold out, according to the company, with the cinema chain's biggest sites for Barbie being Glasgow St Enoch. Other chain's mentioned include Cambridge, Leeds Kirkstall, Cwmbran, Islington, Bolton and Portsmouth. Tim Richards, chief executive and founder of Vue International, said: "Vue saw its highest weekend admissions since Avengers: Endgame in 2019 with the release of Barbie and Oppenheimer, proving that when the movies are there, our customers will come to watch them on the big screen.
