Sharon Rooney has been forced to pull out of an appearance due to the ongoing Hollywood actors' strike.by Greta Gerwig, was due to appear at Glasgow Film Theatre on Saturday, July 22.
The 34-year-old, who stars alongside A-list actors Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, will no longer be introducing the screening of the flick. She was meant to speak ahead of the 4.30pm screening. A spokesperson for the GFT shared the news with fans on Twitter. They wrote:"Due to the recently announced Screen Actors Guild strike, Sharon Rooney will not be attending the screening on July 22.Due to the recently announced Screen Actors Guild strike, Sharon Rooney will not be attending the screening on 22 July. We apologise for any disappointment.
