Antique expert Nick Hall was confused as a contestant suddenly disappeared
Presenter Roo Irvine headed to Kent with experts Irita Marriott and Nick Hall on today's episode of Bargain Hunt. Mum and daughter Sinita and Belinda made up the red team, while sisters Ruqayya and Kulsum were on the blue team.
The two teams of amateur collectors had an hour at an antiques fair to find the best bargains possible for £300. The red team had to find an item with a military or naval connection, while the blue team had to find an item with a motoring connection.READ MORE: Strictly's Ellie Leach says it's a 'sad day' as Vito Coppola sends apology
After buying and selling a submarine helmet, a cat ornament and a nine carat gold pendant, Sinita and Belinda made a loss of £13. Up next were Ruqayya and Kulsum’s items. The sisters bought a train made of old car parts, a glass vase and a stone bracelet. They made an amazing profit of £108 and received a golden gavel each.
When searching around the antique fair, sister Ruqayya appeared to have gone missing. Antique expert Nick Hall asked Kulsum: “is she always like this? Does she always run off?” What caught Ruqayya's eye was a silver train made out of old car parts, but Nick told her it was a risk buying this item as he wasn’t sure how well it would sell at auction. It turned out the blue team made a profit of £26 on this item.Win a 5-night holiday to the Turkish coast at Cook’s Club Adakoy Hotel
