Liverpool will be searching for a new manager but many be directly competing with Bayern Munich, who reportedly hold an interest in Roberto De Zerbi and Xabi Alonso
Liverpool could find themselves at the centre of a managerial merry-go-round as they hunt for Jurgen Klopp’s successor.
New sporting director Richard Hughes will consider several coaches for the role but some names have already been heavily touted with the Liverpool vacancy. The Brighton boss is said to have a €14m release clause, previously reported as £8.5m, and his side received plenty of plaudits last season. The Seagulls have struggled to juggle their Europa League commitments but the Italian coach is still said to be on Bayern’s ‘list’ of options, alongside Alonso.
