BBC have pulled normal scheduling off air as Buckingham Palace releases a statement announcing the Queen is under medical supervision and family travel to Balmoral to be by her side
Bargain Hunt was pulled off air by the BBC this lunchtime amid breaking news about The Queen's health.
A Palace spokesperson said: "Following further evaluation this morning, the Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision."The Queen’s immediate family members have been informed, with the latest announcement escalating fears for the monarch’s health.
Earlier this year, the monarch “reluctantly” missed the State Opening of Parliament due to her difficulties. Speaking of the decision, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson said at the time: “The Queen continues to experience episodic mobility problems, and in consultation with her doctors has reluctantly decided that she will not attend the State Opening of Parliament tomorrow.
One wrote: "But how much were those tape measures worth?" While another added: "I am just annoyed, the BBC interrupted #BargainHunt How will I know who won?".It's the second time this week that live TV has had to make way for breaking news announcements.
