They were spotted enjoying a night out together in London
Two TV stars from rival organisations are now dating after growing close, reports have suggested. Channel 4 First Dates star Cici Coleman and BBC Morning Live's Gethin Jones enjoyed a night out in London's West End together as they watched 2:22 A Ghost Story last week.
An insider said: “They’ve grown close and have been spending time together.” Speaking previously on his love life, Gethin said: “I’m quite old fashioned, I think the small chivalrous things are quite important. I’ll open the door for a lady," reports Birmingham Live. Cici added: “I really appreciate the gesture of someone paying the bill on the first date.” Gethin told The Mirror in June that he "could be married by the end of the year".He said: "My mate has been trying to get me to do it a little bit, but no... I believe in the old-fashioned way." Gethin was previously engaged to Katherine Jenkins after first meeting two years earlier in 2005.
The pair broke off the engagement back in 2014. Katherine said in a documentary programme: "At the end of 2011, when Gethin and I broke up, the reality of it was that, about two weeks later, I had to go on a UK tour where every night I'm singing songs of heartbreak. "And every day just trying to find the energy to cope – let alone going on stage and understand his reason for doing it." She added: "Meanwhile, everybody else is under the impression it was my decision, my ambition – I wanted to take over the world. It was so far from the truth."
