She says she'll be 'forever grateful' for her time at the BBC
A BBC news presenter is leaving the organisation after more than a decade on screen to join another channel. Yalda Hakim has announced that she is leaving the BBC and taking on a new position at Sky News.
The presenter then received several congratulatory messages from viewers for her time on the news channel, but many were sad to see her leave, reports The Daily Record. She posted: "After more than a decade with @BBCWorld @BBCNews I have decided to depart the organisation."I do so with profound gratitude to all of my extraordinarily talented colleagues for their support and collaboration over the years.
"Yalda bolsters this multi-platform presentation—her professional accomplishments and personal journey make her an ideal addition to our newsroom." Yalda also commented on her new role.
