A new two-part series on BBC Four sees two familiar faces explore some the most picturesque walking spots in Yorkshire.
The first installment of the series sees the Dragons’ Den entrepreneur Sara Davies reveal the unexpected impact of participating in Strictly Come Dancing and reflects on motherhood and a busy life.
Swaledale is what many would class as the quintessential walking terrain of rural England, with rolling green hills and fields and cascasding waterfalls along the the River Swale and the iconic drystone walls marking out the landscape. Nina visits the picturesque Muker Hay Meadows, which are resplendent with all types of blooms in the early summer, including the yellow fields that become a sea of buttercups.
She also takes a walk along the River Swale to Keld, while searching for some rare bird species that are native to the local area.
