Charlene Mills, 43, was pronounced dead at the address on Hyde Road in Manchester on Saturday, September 30. Police were called to the street after receiving a "report of concern for her welfare".
“Charlene, or Char as we all knew her, was the most perfect daughter and big sister to Amber. She loved being a mum and idolised her son Rydell and dog, Boxer. She was strong-willed, kind, and cheeky, overcoming so many obstacles in her life. Floral tributes were left outside the house today as police remained stationed outside, with loved ones at the scene naming the victim as Ms Mills. One note on the flowers said: "My heart will forever be broken."
"We have specialist officers in place to ensure they are being updated and supported as we enter the early stages of the investigation. We are currently piecing together the exact details of the incident and a scene remains in place as officers carry out their work.
