She started her working life as a trainee secretary and worked for Lupton Brothers, she then progressed to William Blythe’s as secretary to the Sales Director.Then once her family had grown up, she joined D Mayes and Co Accountants in Accrington.
During her working life Betty worked at Textile Mouldings and in her spare time and during her retirement she loved going away on holiday, especially to Kenya, where she went every year, for the last 20 years before she became ill. Alan Parsons Originally of Accrington, Alan Parsons died peacefully at home on December 8 aged 70 Years.
Margaret started her working life when she trained as a dog groomer, she then went onto work in inspection at Eubank before retiring from Rist Wires where she worked as a Supervisor.
