Beautiful Lake District valley walk with breathtaking views 'at every point of the compass'
Autumn is coming at us with full force and it's one season people love for getting out and about and seeing the changing scenes around them.
For this week’s suggested route we start out in the Langdale Valley with views across the fells, and one that is great for all the family. An added bonus is that it ends in a family-owned pub. The Stickle Tarn walk from Langdale ends at The New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel, a family-owned pub in the heart of the valley. The website explains: "Set amidst the Lake District's most dramatic fells in the picturesque Langdale valley The New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel nestles beneath the Langdale pikes and Pavey Ark.
