Professional cyclist Chris Dawson is no stranger to the heat of competition, but for his next challenge he’ll be riding solo on a long and testing course through the hours of darkness.
“When I was asked to become an ambassador for Darkness Into Light supported by Electric Ireland, I knew I wanted to do a challenging cycle,” said Chris. “Cycling has always been a way for me to clear my head and escape the worries of life.” All across Northern Ireland, people will meet before dawn on Saturday morning at 16 different locations and walk through the sunrise, a symbol of the sense of hope and renewal that are central to Darkness Into Light.
