Laila Zaidi and Adam Gillen have announced their engagement on Instagram, after falling in love back in 2018 while filming the popular TV comedy Benidorm.
The couple's celeb pals were quick to share congratulatory messages, with Game of Thrones actress Nathalie Emmanuel writing: "Awwwww congratulations!!!" and actress Sophie Rundle added: "SO GORGEOUUUUUS!! Congratulations!!!"The acting duo, who met playing Liam and Cyd on Benidorm, started dating in 2018, the same year that the hit show was axed.
Fans will remember character Adam's character Liam changed careers in series five, leaving the holiday destination to work at the Blow 'n' Go salon with Kenneth Du Beke, but although he was no longer a regular member of the hotel staff, he continued on the show until the end of series 10.Loyal fans were devastated to see the end of the iconic show after the show kept them laughing for over a decade.
