A popular Northern Irish kebab chain has been named best in the country at a prestigious UK-wide award ceremony.
The annual awards are a celebration of the industry, which naturally draws key figures from all sections of the takeaway and restaurant sector.The Sphinx, which has locations in Antrim and Stranmillis, has taken the title of 'Best Kebab House in Northern Ireland' for the second year running. A spokesperson for the kebab chain said: "The Sphinx is delighted to receive this prestigious award & it proudly sits beside the 'Best Kebab in Ireland Award' that we won 2 weeks ago.
Mark Finch, Director, UK Account Management, Just Eat, headline sponsor of the awards said: “It’s a real honour for Just Eat to once again support the British Kebab Awards.
