DISCOUNT supermarket Lidl has announced plans to trial Eco-Score, the traffic light system which grades products on their sustainability credentials. The trial is set to begin in the retailer's Scottish stores this October.
Lidl plans to use the scheme to promote its commitment to sourcing 100 percent of its key raw materials, such as tea, coffee and cocoa from sustainable sources.
