Police and paramedics were called to the scene on the A93 between Bridge of Cally and the Spittal of Glenshee on Saturday
The 30-year-old man was riding his Yamaha bike north on the A93 between Bridge of Cally and the Spittal of Glenshee when the collision took place on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the Old Military Road shortly before 1.30pm but the rider could not be saved. A 62-year-old man, who was behind the wheel of a Peugeot 2008, and the 27-year-old female driver of a Ford Rangers were uninjured, police have confirmed.Sergeant Brian McEwen said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who died in this crash. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing to anyone who may have information that could help to get in touch.
“In particular, we are asking those driving in the area around the time of the crash, or anyone with dash-cam footage that could assist, please contact us.
