A 59-year-old man, who had been riding a blue Kawasaki motorbike, was rushed to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the B9157, near Kirkcaldy, at around 1.30pm on Wednesday.

We would particularly like to speak to two people who assisted the man following the crash.
