In true Billie style, What Was I Made For? is sure to give anyone goosebumps, as she showcases her hauntingly beautiful vocals after penning deep lyrics which appear to suggest somewhat of an identity crisis forThe lyrics are truly heartbreaking, with lines such as, ‘Taking a drive, I was an ideal, looked so alive, turns out, I’m not real, just something you paid for, what was I made for?’
We’re not the only ones all emotional over this song, as Billie herself was left in tears in the process of creating it. ‘we were so deeeeeply moved.. that the next day we were writing and COULDNT shut up about it lolll andddddddddd ended up writing almost the entire song that night,’ she wrote.
