Over 23,000 visitors attended Japan’s leading indie games expoJapan’s leading indie games expo, BitSummit, enjoyed record attendance in 2023, it’s claimed.
BitSummit Let’s Go!!, which was held in its traditional venue of Kyoto’s Kangyokan Miyakomesse earlier this month, attracted over 23,700 visitors, its organisers said on Monday – the highest the event has ever achieved. This year’s event was BitSummit’s first fully in-person show since before the pandemic. In 2019, it attracted around 17,000 visitors.
