Black Panther: Wakanda Forever director Ryan Coogler has reportedly filmed all the scenes he can without the British actress and production on the film will stop later this month before restarting in early 2022.
Production on the sequel to Black Panther will reportedly shutdown for a month while star Letitia Wright recovers from an on-set injury.
Wright, who played Shuri in the Marvel superhero movie, was taken to hospital with minor injuries after she hurt herself while filming a stunt in Boston in August. A representative for Wright told the outlet:"Letitia has been recovering in London since September from injuries sustained on the set of Black Panther 2 and is looking forward to returning to work early 2022.The pause in production is not expected to affect the film's November 2022 release. Wright, who was born in Guyana before moving to London when she was young, played the sister of the late Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa in Black Panther.
