Thousand of visitors and locals alike are set to descend on Blackpool this weekend and line the promenade to catch a glimpse of the annual air show this weekend.
There will be an appearance form the world-famous Red Arrows stunt team, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and skills on show from wing-walkers. Across Lancashire, it's been one of the wettest Julys on record so people will be hoping for a warm weekend. The displays take place in skies between North and Central Pier and over Tower Festival Headland and the tower itself. Spectators are expected to line the promenade along the whole of that route, which spans around half a mile.
