Controlled explosion on suspicious item at train station
A controlled explosion has taken place on a suspicious package which caused the evacuation of a railway station, police have said.
All trains between Preston and Blackpool North were cancelled and a number of road closures put in place.We’re currently responding to a report of a suspicious item atThe station is closed as a precaution and a 100 meter corden is in place while specialist officers assess the item.
