A blind man who has spent the last seven Christmases alone after losing his wife has been reunited with an ambulance service worker who helped to turn his life around

After Will found a weekly lunch club at Holy Trinity Church in Stirling, Mr Hamilton reached out to the group. Now, Mr Hamilton joins the Weekly Lunch Club every Thursday and added that Will has made a “big, big difference” to his life, after admitting he suffers from “deep” depressions, at times and often struggles to get out of bed. The Club has also promised that Mr Hamilton will not be on his own at Christmas this year.He explained: “I’ve had cancer and two heart operations. You name it, I’ve had it, but I’ve come through everything. It hasn’t been easy.
