Bolton Wanderers have agreed a deal to sign Ipswich Town goalkeeper Joel Coleman on a free transfer,Coleman, 27, is out of contract at Ipswich later this month and is free to leave Portman Road.
A number of clubs have expressed an interest in the former Huddersfield Town and Fleetwood Town shot-stopper. But Bolton have moved quickly to offer him a move to Ian Evatt’s side and the deal is now all done bar the formalities. The 27-year-old goalkeeper initially penned a short-term deal with Ipswich last November, signing as cover after fellow stopper Nick Hayes suffered a foot injury.
But with Hayes several months away from a return, Coleman extended his stay until the end of the campaign – which has now concluded.
