Boy dies after being hit by van outside village pub as driver arrested
AN 11-year-old boy has died after being mown down outside a pub by a flatbed van.An 11-year-old boy has died after being mown down outside The Lamb Inn, in Hooe, East SussexBut he tragically succumbed to his injuries on Saturday.A 33-year-old man from Eastbourne has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.Police are now appealing for witnesses of the incident.
Anyone who saw what happened or who has any dash cam footage is urged to email collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting Operation Seville.
