Former Premier League goalkeeper provides verdict on the long-running Alisson v Ederson debate MCFC LFC
Sharing the last six Premier League titles between them and both winning the Champions League, the pair aren’t just two of the best goalkeepers in England, but world football.
However, despite Ederson boasting a bigger trophy cabinet than Alisson, he continues to be picked behind the Reds’ keeper by successive Brazil managers.And Friedel can see why, pointing out one key reason. “Alisson for me is the best right now,” he told talkSPORT Drive. “Ederson is excellent also, he’s very, very close to him, but I like Alisson.
