Margot Robbie fans have jumped to her defence after ‘misogynistic’ tweets blamed her for both Amsterdam and Babylon flopping at the box office.
With a budget of around $80,000,000 , the movie grossed less than $6,000,000 in its opening four-day weekend.
David O. Russell’s comedy thriller, which saw Margot star alongside Christian Bale, has grossed just $14,900,000 in two months in the United States against an $80,000,000 budget. One fan wrote: ‘the way they blame her for these flops like they arent also led by male movie stars who been in the game longer than her.’
