People are being urged to stay away from the area while emergency services carry out their work. The condition of the people involved has not been confirmed following the collision. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters are currently supporting police at the scene of a serious road traffic collision on Albion Way in Salford where a motorcycle has collided with a pedestrian. The road is closed and people should avoid the area while the incident is ongoing.
