The Irishman was fizzing at the two red cards from Gustaf Lagerbielke and Odin Thiago Holm.
Brendan Rodgers admits Celtic paid the price for inexperience as Gustaf Lagerbielke and Odin Thiago Holm both saw red in their Champions League defeat against Feyenoord in Rotterdam.
Swedish stopper Lagerbielke was sent off for a second booking after catching Igor Paixao, although the Brazilian’s resulting penalty was saved by Joe Hart. And Norwegian Holm was dismissed for a studs-up challenge - just 10 minutes after his introduction. The pair will be suspended for the second group game at home to Lazio next month and Rodgers told TNT Sports: “In the second half I’m really disappointed with the two sending offs and with nine men it becomes very difficult.
“But the spirit of the players was brilliant. We kept fighting, kept working. It was always going to be a really difficult challenge with nine men. If we get to the last game to play Feyenoord at home with everything to play for then we’ll be in with a fantastic chance.”
