Jersey’s minister for external relations called on France to remove all threats of retaliation. Senator Ian Gorst has told the PA news agency: Well, we’re pleased that the threats of retaliation that would have been imposed from midnight last night have been stayed, as it were, but we continue to believe that those threats are not compliant and those measures would not be compliant with the terms of the trade deal.
