Former St Monica’s Primary school pupil Azhaf Ejaz won gold after competing in maths challenges - even excelling in a junior competition meant only for pupils in S1 and S2.
A schoolboy who is a whizz at maths has made his parent's proud after winning gold in two competitions - one of which was meant only for secondary school pupils.
In his second challenge, he took part in The United Kingdom Mathematics Trust's junior maths challenge where he had to answer 25 multiple choice style questions, in one hour - and succeeded. "They give him challenging questions and he managed to solve them quite fast. Around two years ago, one of his teachers told us that we should find different challenges for him to do.
