BREAKING: A 57-year-old British tourist has reportedly died after being hit by a tram in Barcelona just yards away from Primavera Sound music festival.
A Scottish tourist has died after being run over by a tram in Barcelona.
City hall sources confirmed late this afternoon the victim was a 57-year-old Scot, confirming earlier local newspaper reports about his age and nationality. People attending the concert had been leaving around the time the unnamed man was knocked down and died. A person with him, whose age and nationality has not yet been revealed, was uninjured and was today receiving psychological assistance.
