EXCLUSIVE: Britney Spears' former bodyguard has revealed that he isn't surprised over her recent split from husband Sam Asghari, and he was actually expecting it to come even earlier
Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari shocked the showbiz world last week when it was reported they’ve split and are headed for a divorce.
“I think they clearly rushed into getting married, which is another pattern that is repeating,” he said. “When Britney falls in love, I think she always wants to make that person her husband. She doesn’t always think it through.” Sam filed papers at court in Los Angeles to make their separation formal, citing “irreconcilable differences”. It was stated that the couple had split on 28 July. Sam also requested spousal support and attorneys’ fees.
“We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always. S**t happens.” He added that asking for privacy seems “ridiculous”, but asked for everyone to be “kind and thoughtful”. “Yes, Sam has signed a prenup, but I think he will walk away from this with a few million dollars in his pocket.”
