Britney Spears' fiancé Sam Asghari reflects on their heartbreaking miscarriage
The burgeoning actor also said that he had always wanted to be a 'young father' and that children were the 'next step' calling procreation 'the joy of life.'
The singer first announced that she was expecting her first child with Asghari in April in a social media post saying she had thought she gained a food baby while on vacation but took a test and it turned out she was pregnant. 'Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along however we were overly excited to share the good news. Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult time.'
'I figured with her taste, she wouldn't want something super big and super celebrity. Celebrities get that million dollar ring. And usually, it's free because it's for promotion, but I want it to represent something,' he told GQ of choosing her engagement ring. He also gushed about Britney's 'cat-like reflexes,' and how competitive she is when they play tennis, ping pong and basketball.
