Brodie Spencer may only be in the door at Fir Park but he insists Saturday's comeback win over Kilmarnock has told him loads about the character in the Motherwell dressing room.
The 19-year-old Northern Ireland international said: "I am only here a few days but I have already learned a lot about the lads, just from that result."Most teams would let their heads go down after missing the penalty, but the lads stuck in and got their reward."Nobody was down, nobody was feeling sorry for themselves. We knew what we needed to do in the second half and went out and did it.
He made his first team debut in the Carabeo Cup against Preston North End last August, making six appearances so far, while also playing in the Nations League for his country.He said: "I knew I was going to sign a contract extension before I went out on loan, so that gives me confidence that he [Warnock] believes in me enough to give me that new contract.
