A prominent Glasgow road is set to be closed for a year to allow the upgrade of a railway bridge.
The closure will stretch from St Andrew’s Drive toRailway bridge at Shields Road, Glasgow
The new structure is expected to be"stronger, wider and better able to handle the size and volume of traffic that needs to travel over it". Pedestrian access and access for cyclists who dismount will be maintained throughout via a temporary bridge which will be installed early in the project.
