A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Police are assisting with traffic control following a report of a van on fire in the Racecourse Road area of Derry / Londonderry, which was reported shortly before 11.40am today, Monday 9th October." The spokesperson added: "The road has not been closed, however, it is partially blocked, and no injuries have been reported."
