The environmentalist and presenter, 96, was appointed Knight Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George at Windsor Castle.The award, presented to him by the Prince of Wales, a fellow environmentalist, recognises his 70-year commitment to environmental and conservation issues, as well as his recent documentaries that have highlighted such issues.
