Cadbury says they don't sell like they used to
An iconic chocolate treat will be scrapped despite being on the shelves since 1960. Cadbury has gutted families across the UK after announcing that it will be discontinuing its mini bags of Dairy Milk Buttons.
However, many fans of the sweet treat are disappointed. One dad said he has had to stock up on three months' worth of the treat as the mini button packs are "the only chocolate" that his son, who has autism, will eat. The father told The Sun : "I started to notice that I was struggling to find it via online retailers reports The Chronicle Live.
A Cadbury spokesperson responded: "We're sorry to advise that this product has been discontinued. Consumer tastes and trends do change over the years and our dedicated Research and Development Teams are always working hard to delight our consumers with a varied range with seasonal favourites and new exciting ideas."
