Yvette will be marking the fifteen year anniversary since she returned her driving licence with a high-octane charity fundraiser RNIB cambridgeshire
SUPERCAR CHARITY MISSION: Yvette Chivers, who has DJ’d around Europe and popular festivals, will be fundraising for a cause close to her heart
Yvette, also known as DJ MissChivers, 45, from Cambridge, was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa over twenty years ago. RP is a genetic eye condition which affects the light-sensitive cells in the retina at the back of the eye, which causes the person’s sight to deteriorate over time. “So, I thought marking the anniversary with AbleNet’s Blind Driving Experience was a perfect way to do something I once enjoyed, and to raise money for RNIB who support a cause very close to my heart.”
