Dunoon Burgh Hall in Argyll & Bute aims to raise enough money to enable the building to stay open for another 150 years.
A SCOTTISH arts and cultural venue is appealing for donations to secure its future.
The hall was first opened in 1874 but had fallen into a state of disrepair by the end of the 20th century. Holly McAllister, operations manager of Dunoon Burgh Hall, said she is hopeful about the campaign, emphasising the importance of improving accessibility to arts and culture. “As a charity, the hall is reliant on donations and has no core funding to support high overheads and maintenance costs.
