The items were found unattended in an area near to Auchmithie Beach, Arbroath, early this morning
Camping equipment and a kayak were among the items found abandoned on Scots beach earlier today sparking a police search.
The cove lies between Auchmithie and Lunan Bay, specifically Prail Castle and Redhead on the map. It is only accessible from the water or by abseiling down the cliff edge.
