Police issued a warning about prescription drugs bought from street dealers or via the internet

Cash, cannabis and class C prescription drugs have been seized by the PSNI following searches at two properties on Monday, the PSNI has said.Following the seizures, police issued a warning about the use of prescription drugs bought from street dealers or over the internet.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said: "Detectives from the Police Service’s Organised Crime Branch have carried out searches of two properties in the Coleraine area today, Monday 9th October." “The Police Service of Northern Ireland is determined to disrupt the criminal activity of anyone involved in the drugs trade. Anyone tempted to become involved in the sale of illegal drugs should be under no illusion; we will seek to identify them, arrest them and place them before the courts."
