A busy Scots road was closed this afternoon after a car burst into flames
A picture from the scene shows bright orange flames pouring from the bonnet and covering the windscreen of the dark grey vehicle, sending clouds of thick smoke into the sky.
The road was closed for almost two hours as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze. It was reopened by police at around 5.30pm.Top news stories today A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 3.55pm on Thursday, 13 July, to a report of a broken down car on fire on the A92 eastbound slip at Crossgates.“No one was injured and the road reopened around 5.30pm.”READ NEXT:
