Cops locked down the road after a car collided with several other vehicles
A car flipped on its roof after a collision involving several vehicles caused carnage in a Scots town. Emergency services raced to the multi-vehicle smash in Milnathort, Perthshire, around 6.15pm.
A picture from the scene shows a severely damaged white car, lying overturned in the middle of South Street, close to the New Road Roundabout. Debris from several motors is strewn across the road and a number of other cars appear to have been badly damaged in the incident. Cops have locked down the road, and it is expected to be shut overnight. Stunned locals can be seen taking in the shocking scene.Drivers have been advised to avoid the area and bus firm Stagecoach said their X56 service would not be in service, due to the accident.
