Police raced to Mossvale Road on Monday morning after a car crashed into a stationary vehicle before smashing into railings, causing extensive damage to the bumper and driver's side.
Pictures of the wrecked vehicle on Mossvale Road show the extent of damage following the incident shortly before 9am this morning.An eyewitness told GlasgowLive: "Two cars were involved, the other one was on a tow truck. The scene has been cleaned up now."Only the bent guardrail and elements of the car remained."
Images sent in by a reader show one car's bumper completely destroyed as the vehicle is wedged between railings.A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: "Around 8.55am on Monday, August 21 we were called to Mossvale Road, Glasgow, after a car crashed into a stationary vehicle."A 32-year-old woman was issued with a fixed penalty notice in connection with a road traffic offence."
