Deadline for applications to replace Gary Hamilton in vacant managerial position is this Wednesday
Glenavon caretaker boss Gary McAlister says he will take it "session by session and game by game" as the club continues their search for Gary Hamilton's replacement.
Reserve team boss McAlister assisted by coach Chris Chambers and Mark Haughey, helped ease some of the doom and gloom around the club by leading them to a much-needed win over Carrick Rangers on Saturday after a turbulent week.McAlister says he will continue in the role until something changes, with the focus on the trip to Crusaders this Saturday."We're taking it session by session and game by game.
Goals from Aaron Prendergast and Jack Malone helped the Lurgan Blues see off the ten men of Carrick Rangers and McAlister was pleased to be able to bring a bit of joy to the club after what he admitted was a "tough week" for everyone."Gaz has been an exceptional manager for this football club and I know whenever everything settles down he'll go down probably as one of the greatest if not the greatest Glenavon manager. To follow that is tough.
