Carrie and Mike have partnered with NHL team Predators Nashville
to call on fans to help them "rescue children in crisis". The country superstar and her former National Hockey League player husband have shared a heartfelt plea with fans to donate money and help to feed the children around the world.
"When I look from the stage at the seats in this arena, every seat represents a child who needs help," the mom-of-two said in the video. Posted to Compassion International's social media pages and shared by Carrie and Mike, the caption read: "We are facing off against global hunger and need your help to rescue children in crisis."It continue: "When you attend a @predsnhl game in #Nashville, every seat represents a child who needs help. @compassion is partnered with @predsfoundation and country music artists to Fill The Arena and feed 17,159 children in Nashville and around the world.
"I’ve got a little Christmas Bonus for you guys!" Carrie shared alongside the animated video which showed various different people dancing in tartan pants, and Carrie singing: "Spandex and lycra you better work it for me." A portion of the proceeds from streams and downloads of Stretchy Pants was donated to The Store, which the pair launched in 2020.
